Wishing Well, Live Performance, 30 minutes, Lushan Museum, Chengdu, China, 2019.

The two artists had a large number of pearl necklaces and jewellery of varying lengths and sizes hanging from their necks and arms. They carried heavy hangings, moving in opposite directions from the roof and the floor respectively through the spiral stairs. Walking along the stairs, they hold one necklace on their bodies, holding it and making one wish, then cut the bead string with scissors. The performance was accompanied by the sound of pearls falling to the ground and mirrors breaking. They repeated this action on each floor, and the audience gradually joined them spontaneously. Finally, all the strings of beads on the two artists fell to the ground. The mirror at the bottom of the stairs was eventually broken under repeated bumps. Some audience continued to linger and play in the performance space after it ended, picking up pearls and making their own jewellery or different styles of souvenirs.
